Grow More Food is working in Kenya

Kenya has a population in excess of 44 million, kenya-flag-smallwith 70% relying on agriculture and more than 100,000 which are small-scale farmers. The country has 536km of coastline, and 10,700km of inland water. This includes Lake Victoria, famous worldwide.

Kenya suffers from an unpredictable climate, with drought and unreliable rain showers leaving regions without dependable water supplies.

Grow More Food has started to work with communities in Kenya that are affected by HIV and AIDS. Often these communities are marginalized from the rest of society which makes life very tough. By supplying drip irrigation kits to marginalized communities we are helping
people to grow food with whatever water and land they
have – generally rainwater and borehole water.
